THE FPL WAY XV – WHO ARE THE BEST FPL PLAYERS TO OWN FOR GW38?

We will be going through all the fixtures for our team selection and will provide you with the reason as to why we have selected them.

Fulham vs Newcastle

We have one player from this matchup which is Joseph Willock (4.8m). This guy is in great form at the moment, providing an attacking return in the last 6 Gameweeks where he got game time. In 3 of these games, he was subbed on very late in the game and still managed to get a goal. Game time doesn’t seem to be an issue now since he has been in the starting XI in the last 3 matches. With him accumulating 24 points in the last 3 games, we’re pretty confident he will add another attacking return to his tally in this favourable fixture.

Leeds vs West Brom

We have tripled up on Leeds assets here with Illan Meslier (4.8m), Stuart Dallas (5.4m) and Patrick Bamford (6.5m). Leeds have kept two clean sheets in their last 2 games and we certainly feel this will happen again in their final fixture. Dallas is especially a great pick as he plays a more attacking role, accumulating 8 goals and 3 assists so far this season. We feel there will be plenty of goals in this fixture, especially in Leeds favour. That being said, we just had to include Bamford in our starting XI. He got a goal and an assist in their 2-0 win against The Saints and we’re fairly confident he will add more to his tally on Sunday!

We have one pick for West Brom with Matheus Pereira (5.4m). If there is one man that will get an attacking return in this squad, it will be this Brazillian star. In the last 5 Gameweeks, he has scored 3 and assisted once. Pereira has scored a total of 11 goals and 7 assists so far this season, that being said, we just had to feature him in our starting XI.

Leicester vs Spurs

We have just the two players in this fixture for Spurs with Heung-Min Son (9.7m) and Harry Kane (11.9m). Did you know, Harry Kane has actually scored 14 goals in 10 Premier League appearances against Leicester, more than he has netted versus any other opponent in the competition. With both Kane and Salah joint top goal scorers with 22 goals, he will be fighting for goals to ensure he gets the Golden Boot this season. We all know Son and Kane make a great partnership, so we can expect to see some attacking returns from the pair in this fixture.

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace

Trent Alexander-Arnold (7.7m) and Mohamed Salah (12.8m) are our two picks for Liverpool. TAA has definitely had a better end to the season and is finally justifying his high price tag. Since Gameweek 28, TAA has scored a goal and provided 5 assists and has accumulated 70 points since then (that’s an average of ~7.8 points per game). In the reverse fixture, Liverpool surprised us all with their 7-0 win, can they repeat history? We sure hope so! As already mentioned, Salah is joint head-to-head with Kane in the battle for the golden boot. With a nice fixture for them, the fact he is the Egyptian hero and scored 2 goals in the reverse fixture; how could you not include this legend.

Sheffield Utd vs Burnley

The only pick for this fixture is Chris Wood (6.5m). With Burnley facing the relegated bottom of the league and getting some nice attacking returns late on in the season, this guy is a no-brainer really. With only 4.3% ownership and scoring 12 goals this season so far, we’re confident he will add to his tally in this fixture. Maybe this guy could be the crazy punt differential captain to gain that last-minute boost of rank you are needing? Massive cahonas would be required for this obviously…

West Ham vs Southampton

The only selection we have here is Vladimir Coufal (4.8m). Well, West Ham will be wanting to finish their season on an absolute high. A win would definitely secure a Europa League spot for The Hammers so they will definitely want to win this game. Hopefully, we will see a West Ham clean sheet and hopes for a Coufal attacking return in this fixture. An assist would be great, a goal would be the cherry on the cake.

Our Bench Picks

Will Norris (4.0m)

With Pope out with a shoulder injury, we could see Norris starting in the most favourable fixture of the Gameweek. A clean sheet here on paper and a very reasonable price tag; that’s why he’s our sub GK.

Phil Foden (6.1m)

Foden could make a great pick for this GW, but with Pep Roulette, well… you know, you can never be too confident on Man City assets. When he does feature, he kills it. This youngster is a star in the making, if he starts, we can definitely see some nice attacking returns here.

Victor Lindelöf (4.8m)

With Wolves not scoring in the last two Gameweeks, we can see this becoming a 3rd on the trot. Great bench fodder, a hopeful clean sheet… That brings this fella into our team.

Rob Holding (4.3m)

An awesome budget defender here, a possibility for a clean sheet, again… great bench fodder!

Who Are The Best FPL Players To Own For BGW36?

Posted by: @FantasySilva

Here are our FPL Way Picks for the Blank Gameweek 36 which commences on Friday 14th May at 18:30.

Each week we build a team who we feel will make a solid team for the Gameweek with a 100 million budget. This weeks team comes out at 99.8 million. You may have more funds in the bank so there are possible upgrades you could potentially do here.

Following the Triple Gameweek where we had Man Utd play three fixtures and with a lot of Double Gameweeks as well; this week we have a few teams who will blank. The four team with a Blank Gameweek are shown below:

ClubBGW36
Arsenal
Chelsea
Leicester
Man United

THE FPL WAY XV – WHO ARE THE BEST FPL PLAYERS TO OWN FOR BGW36?

We will be going through all the fixtures for our team selection and will provide you with the reason as to why we have selected them.

Newcastle vs Man City

For Man City, we have doubled up and have gone with Ederson Santana de Moraes (6.1m) and Phil Foden (6.0m). Ederson can be your set and forget keeper for the rest of the season and we can expect some clean sheets in their upcoming games. When Foden has played the full 90 minutes, he has accumulated 1 goal and 3 assists. The Pep roulette as we all know can be a very frustrating thing for managers, but should he start, he can certainly get some attacking returns.

Burnley vs Leeds

We have actually tripled up on Leeds assets with Stuart Dallas (5.2m), Raphinha (5.4m) and Patrick Bamford (6.3m). Leeds have the easiest fixtures for the rest of the season now (alongside Liverpool) and we can definitely see a lot of defensive and attacking returns within their last 3 games. With Dallas, not only is he a great defender, but he has scored 8 goals and assisted 3 times so far this season. For a defender with these stats and his price, we just simply couldn’t go without him. Raphinha assisted Bamford’s goal in the last fixture. With Raphinha now back from injury, we can see the partnership coming back into action with more attacking returns for the team.

Spurs vs Wolves

In this fixture, we have gone for two Spurs assets with Heung-Min Son (9.5m) and Harry Kane (11.8m). Son has scored 17 goals and 10 assists this season and Harry Kane has scored 21 goals and provided 13 assists. These two players work great together and we most certainly can expect a lot of attacking returns from the pair in their last 3 matches. Kane is currently the top scorer in the Premier League with 21 goals with Mo Salah chasing him at 20. That being said, Kane will want to secure the golden boot and will definitely strive to get on the score sheet.

West Brom vs Liverpool

We have doubled up with Liverpool players in our starting XI with Trent Alexander-Arnold (7.6m) and Mohamed Salah (12.7m). Liverpool has one of the easiest set of fixtures for the rest of the season so it is no surprise to see some of their players in our team. Yes, TAA is the most expensive defender in Fantasy Football but when he starts getting attacking returns on top of clean sheets, the price tag is certainly justified. In the last 6 games, TAA has one goal and one assist to his name and has accumulated 49 points with only one blank. In the last 5 matches, Salah has scored 3 goals and assisted once and we definitely expect him to keep up his great form until the end of the season.

Everton vs Sheffield Utd

For Everton, we have picked Seamus Coleman (4.9m) and Dominic Calvert-Lewin (7.6m). With Everton playing bottom of the league, we can expect a clean sheet and some attacking returns. Coleman is a great pick for his price tag and quite the differential really with only 2.8% ownership. DCL seems to be showing signs of the early form he had at the start of the season and has picked up 2 goals and an assist in his last 3 games. Both players are great picks for this week and next Gameweek as well where they will face Wolves at home.

Our Bench Picks

Fraser Forster (4.0m)

With Forster back in Southampton’s first team and for his price tag; he is a great keeper to have in your team.

Ademola Lookman (4.8m)

Fulham has some decent fixtures coming up and we all know he is fully capable of getting some attacking returns.

Nathaniel Phillips (4.1m)

With Liverpool having one of the easiest set of fixtures until the end of the season and for only 4.1m, Phillips is a great addition to your team. You could even potentially double him up with TAA to capitalise on the potential clean sheet points.

Tyrick Mitchell (3.8m)

Mitchell is the cheapest defender in Fantasy Premier League, with him currently in the starting team for Palace and some pretty favourable fixtures, again, he’s a great addition to the squad.

Who Are The Best FPL Players To Own For DGW35?

Posted by: @FantasySilva

Here is our FPL Way Picks for the Double Gameweek 35 which commences on Friday 7th May at 18:30.

Our team this week comes out at only 98.8 million. Each week we build a team with a budget of 100 million. You may have more money in the bank so you could potentially upgrade some players here.

Following the strange GW34 where we had the Man Utd v Liverpool game postponed after protests in and around Old Trafford, we have a more exciting Gameweek coming up. This week it’s a Double Gameweek where the following teams will play twice (however, don’t forget that four of these teams will have a Blank Gameweek 36):

ClubDGW35BGW36
ARSWBA (H), CHE (A)
AVLMUN (H), EVE (H)CRY (A)
CHEMCI (A), ARS (H)
CRYSHU (A), SOU (A)AVL (H)
EVEWHU (A), AVL (A)SHU (H)
LEINEW (H), MUN (A)
MUNAVL (A), LEI (H)
SOULIV (A), CRY (H)FUL (H)

Leicester: Newcastle (H) | Man Utd (A)

Our Foxes picks for this double are Timothy Castagne (5.8m) and Kelechi Iheanacho (6.3m). Castagne has already shown his impact at both ends of the pitch with two attacking returns in the last 3 Gameweeks. Hopefully, Leicester will manage at least one clean sheet on top of this which supports his value. Iheanacho on the other hand was a very easy selection for this Gameweek and he will be amongst the favourites for captaincy. Since Gameweek 26, Iheanacho has scored 9 goals and 2 assists and only blanking once in that time. That’s an incredible 73 points in the last 8 Gameweeks!

Crystal Palace: Sheffield Utd (H) | Southampton (A)

For Palace, we have selected Vicente Guaita (4.8m) and Wilfried Zaha (7.1m) in our starting XI. The Eagles have the most favourable fixtures where we should expect both defensive and attacking returns. In the reverse fixture for both matches, Guaita accumulated 2 clean sheets and 4 bonus points. We know their defence hasn’t been the greatest lately but we simply can’t ignore these fixtures/stats. If there is someone who is going to step up in these games, we feel it will be Zaha. He’s scored 10 goals and 4 assists this season and we have a feeling he will add to his tally here. Another reason to get in some Palace players is that they don’t blank in Gameweek 36 and they have decent fixtures now until the end of the season.

Everton: West Ham (A) | Aston Villa (A)

Seamus Coleman (4.9m) and Dominic Calvert-Lewin (7.5m) are our picks for Everton. Coleman has provided 2 assists and 3 clean sheets in the last 5 Gameweeks and could potentially add more to his tally in these two fixtures. We can’t ignore how great Calvert-Lewin started this season. Also, with him scoring in his last fixture against Aston Villa, we have a feeling he will get some attacking returns in both of these fixtures as well.

Man Utd: Aston Villa (H) | Leicester (H)

We have actually tripled up on Man Utd assets with Luke Shaw (5.4m), Bruno Miguel Borges Fernandes (11.5m) and Mason Greenwood (7.1m) in this fixture. Although they blank in GW36, they now have the Liverpool fixture to be re-scheduled which could potentially be another upcoming Double Gameweek for them this season (fixture announcement to be announced). We’re hoping that Fernandes is back in form now, especially when he got 2 goals and 2 assists in the Europa League semi-final against Roma in their latest fixture. Greenwood has scored four and assisted once in his last four Gameweeks accumulating 35 points. With two fixtures to play at home, we feel that both of these guys will get some attacking returns.

Southampton: Liverpool (A) | Crystal Palace (H)

Our only selection for The Saints is James Ward-Prowse (5.8m). If there is any player that is going to get an attacking return, it will be this guy. Ward-Prowse has scored 8 and assisted 6 times so far this season with 1 goal and 1 assist in the previous two Premier League matches. We definitely feel he could add to his tally here which is why we have selected him in our starting XI.

Spurs: Leeds (A)

We have selected only one player from this team and that is Harry Kane (11.9m). Kane is the only player we have selected that is not playing a Double Gameweek. Why? Well, Kane is currently the highest-scoring player in the Premier League with 21 goals and joint first on assists with 13. We definitely feel he could accumulate more points in one game than others can in two. With this, the fact that Spurs don’t blank in Gameweek 36 and because they have some nice fixtures until the end of the season, we simply just couldn’t go without this man!

Our Bench Picks

Jordan Pickford (4.8m)

With two favourable fixtures and for a decent price, Pickford is a nice pick, not only for this Gameweek but for the rest of the season. A guaranteed starter and with the potential for a clean sheet or two.

James Maddison (7.3m)

Although Maddison has only recently come back into the Leicester squad and is yet to get an attacking return, he could well do some damage here. We didn’t feel 100% confident about him which is why we selected Ward-Prowse in the starting XI instead. If you are using the Bench Boost Chip though, this guy could definitely get you some points.

Joel Ward (4.3m)

Since Palace have the most favourable fixtures, we had to get another Palace defender in the squad. On paper, this could potentially be two clean sheets, hence why we have selected him.

Rob Holding (4.3m)

Adding an Arsenal defender at only 4.3m was a simple decision. We’re expecting at least one clean sheet here, and for that value, he’s worthy of being in the team.

Who Are The Best FPL Players To Own For GW34?

Posted by: @FantasySilva

Here is our FPL Way Picks for Gameweek 34 which commences on Friday 30th April 18:30.

Like we do each week, our scout picks selection is based on a team budget of 100 million; this week’s team comes out at 99.7 million. Obviously, many of you will have more money to upgrade some of these players.

Southampton v Leicester

We have two picks in our starting XI which includes Kelechi Iheanacho (6.2m), Timothy Castagne (5.8m). Iheanacho looked very lively in the Palace game and came out with a cracking goal and an assist to go along with it. Since GW26, Nacho has scored 9 and bagged 1 assist; so with his impeccable form, this was a very easy selection. We’re hoping for a clean sheet for Leicester which is why we have selected Castagne. He has some attacking threat as well which boosts his worth. He also got on the score sheet in his last fixture too.

Crystal Palace v Man City

Phil Foden (6.0m) is our pick here and could well be a nice differential for your squad. In the last two matches where he played all 90 minutes, he has managed 1 goal and 3 assists. If Pep decides to start the youngster, we could well see some attacking returns in this away fixture.

Brighton v Leeds

Just the one selection from this fixture; Stuart Dallas (5.2m). Dallas is another player that offers an attacking threat. He’s played a full 90 minutes in every match this season scoring 7 goals and 3 assists in that time. As a defender, these are some pretty nice stats. The fixtures for Leeds for the remainder of the season are very favourable too. So not only is he a great selection for this Gameweek but for the remaining games also.

Chelsea v Fulham

Our picks for this match are Edouard Mendy (5.2m) and Mason Mount (7.3m). We feel this to be a favourable fixture for Chelsea with a nice possibility of a clean sheet. The Blues will definitely be fighting for the 3 points to secure the Champions League spot as well.

Spurs v Sheffield Utd

We have 3 Spurs selections for this game as they play bottom of the table on their home turf. This includes Sergio Reguilón (5.6m), Heung-Min Son (9.5m), and Harry Kane (11.8m). On paper, this game just screams a clean sheet with a lot of attacking returns. Hopefully, we get the Son and Kane partnership we’ve seen many times before.

Burnley v West Ham

Finally, we have the regular selection for our Scout Picks which is Jesse Lingard (6.6m). Although he blanked for the first time since GW23 in his last fixture, it’s impossible to ignore this man’s stats. Since GW24, Lingard has achieved 7 goals 4 assists and is proving to be one of the best Premier League loans.

Our Bench Picks

Emiliano Martínez (5.4m)

Martinez has been an amazing asset this season, providing the best value for money in the FPL game this season. Although he hasn’t kept a clean sheet in the last five games, we feel that this will turn around in this fixture. Even if he doesn’t, he typically gets points from saves and bonus points regardless.

James Maddison (7.3m)

With Maddison back in the picture for Leicester, this man is hard to ignore. Although he’s not delivered the goods in his last two games, he is nevertheless a great player and due to some attacking returns.

Joël Veltman (4.4m)

Brighton has managed 2 clean sheets in their last 3 games and we are hoping for this to become 3 in 4.

Rob Holding (4.2m)

An Arsenal defender at 4.2m is an easy pick in this team. Arsenal also has some great upcoming defensive fixtures.

Who Are The Best FPL Players To Own For GW33?

Posted by: @FantasySilva

Here is our FPL Way XI in preparation for the 18:30 Friday deadline.

As always we have compiled the best picks for this game week in our FPL Way XI. This week’s team comes at just under 99 million. Obviously, many of you will have money to upgrade players. This week only 16 teams are playing as Man City, Spurs, Southampton, and Fulham all blank.

Liverpool vs Newcastle

We have two picks from Merseyside Nathaniel Phillips (4.1m), and Mohamed Salah (12.5m).  Liverpool has a great run of upcoming fixtures warranting two players in our GW33 selection. Liverpool’s favourable run definitely boasts clean sheet potential and at 4.1m surely Phillips is a no-brainer.

Salah has finally come back into form scoring in his last two. And with Liverpool’s sole focus now lying in the Premier League I suggest having him for the season run-in. His race for the golden boot may also spur him on.

West Ham vs Chelsea

Yes, Jesse Lingard (6.6m) is obviously our pick here. Since debuting in GW22 against Aston Villa no player has averaged more points per game (8.9) than Jesse. Although he picked up a late knock in the game against Newcastle, it’s only minor and he should be back for the Chelsea match. With West Ham boasting amazing fixures until the end of the season and with the form Lingards in, I don’t see any reason to get rid of him.

Wolves vs Burnley

We’ve looked at the Wolves defense in this game and decided to go with Rui Patrício (5.3m) and Nélson Semedo (5.3m). Wolves have some great fixtures coming up which is why we have two Wolves defenders in our XI. Wolves have looked shaky defensively this season, but have recently shored up at the back keeping back-to-back clean sheets for only their second time this season.

Leeds vs Man Utd

Here we have gone for a differential pick with Edinson Cavani (7.9m). Although he didn’t start against Burnley game he came off the bench to score. The Uruguayan has now scored in each of his last three games, definitely one to keep an eye on. We have also gone with Bruno Fernandes (11.6m). While his form of late may be questionable, I feel he has been unlucky not to have picked up more FPL points in recent weeks. Maybe Greenwood could be a cheaper alternative.

Leicester vs Crystal Palace

Here we have tripled up on Leicester assets with Wesley Fofana (5.0m), James Maddison (7.2m), and Kelechi Iheanacho (6.1m) being our picks. Crystal Palace, Newcastle, and Southampton make up Leicesters’ next three fixtures. Three teams who have conceded a combined 29 goals in their past four games and only scored 18. To add to these fixtures we have Maddisons return which can surely only boost Iheanachos appeal.

Our Bench Picks

Emiliano Martínez (5.4m)

Martinez (5.4m) has been wonderful this season, providing the best value for money in the FPL game this season. Although he hasn’t kept a clean sheet in the last four games, he has still provided some extra points with either bonus points on saves.

Matheus Pereira (5.4m)

Pereira has been West Brom’s star player this season but has struggled for form when being deployed on the flanks. Pereira however has recently been deployed down the middle and has produced 5 attacking returns in the last two games during that time.

Matt Targett (5.0m)

Aston Villa has the second-best defence this season managing 15 clean sheets. On the other hand, West Brom has only scored 28 goals this season. Targett also has attacking potential to come off the bench.

Rob Holding (4.2m)

An Arsenal defender at 4.2m is an easy pick in this team. Arsenal also has some great upcoming defensive fixtures.

Who Are The Best FPL Players To Own For GW32?

The FPL returns again on Friday 16th April with a deadline to finalise your team by 18:30.

To help you out with your team, we’ve created our top picks for Gameweek 32. As always, our picks are based on having 100 million in the bank and this week’s team comes out at just 99.4 million. We understand you have probably gained a lot of value from players so possible upgrades could be on the cards for your team.

Here are our Gameweek 32 Picks

DGW: Everton vs Spurs | Spurs vs Southampton

With Spurs playing twice in Gameweek 32, it’s inevitable that we have tripled up on Spurs assets. For this selection, we’ve gone with Harry Kane (11.6m), Heung-Min Son (9.4m) and Sergio Reguilón (5.5m). Kane is currently the joint top goal scorer along with Mohamed Salah; both players have an incredible 19 goals so far this season. With this in mind, we feel Kane could easily get a few goals/assists in these two matchups, especially since we expect him to start both games and get at least 70 minutes of game time in each match. Although he blanked in the last meet up with Man Utd, we feel he will bounce back and have a great partnership with Son. He needs to be fighting for goals every week to become the golden boot winner! Son got a goal in the previous game and is looking locked in to start at the moment, which is why we have added him to our selection also. With Reguilón being a regular starter for Spurs, we’ve simply added him for the possible benefit of playing two games with high hopes of him bagging at least one clean sheet as a minimum.

Newcastle vs West Ham

Our only pick for this fixture is nobody other than the main man; Jesse Lingard (6.4m). Did you know that Lingard’s current points per game this season is 9.1 points! That’s two points higher than the second contender which is Kane. Lingard has been an exceptional player on his loan to West Ham and with a whopping 9.5 form, we simply couldn’t imagine going without him in our Gameweek 32 selection.

Wolves vs Sheffield Utd

Wolves are up against the bottom of the league which is why our pick for this game is Nélson Cabral Semedo (5.2m). Semedo achieved 9 points in his previous game against Fulham away (with 3BPS), so we feel pretty confident he will get another clean sheet in this fixture and hopefully some bonus points along the way! With Sheffield Utd only managing to bag 17 goals this season in 31 matches, we have high hopes of him repeating a similar score to the previous fixture, especially with Wolves playing at home.

Arsenal vs Fulham

Our pick for this fixture is Alexandre Lacazette (8.3m). He seems to be getting more game time recently and following the 2 goals he scored against Sheffield Utd, we have no doubt that he will start and add to his scoring tally. With only 7.3% ownership as well, he could well be a very good differential, not only for this week but in upcoming fixtures as well.

Man Utd vs Burnley

Once again, we have only one selection in this fixture and it is none other than Bruno Fernandes (11.6m). Burnley have not managed to keep a clean sheet in their last 8 Gameweeks. Fernandes is definitely due to a burst of points and we can’t ignore him for this Gameweek 32 fixture. With 16 goals and 13 assists so far this season, how could you possibly ignore this Portuguese star?

Chelsea vs Brighton

In this fixture, we have gone with Edouard Mendy (5.2m) and Kai Havertz (8.2m). The reason behind the Mendy pick is that he has managed 4 clean sheets in Chelsea’s last 6 fixtures and we can definitely see this becoming 5 in 7. And then for Havertz, if you saw him play in his last game against Crystal Palace, you’ll no doubt already be thinking about bringing this guy into your team. Fulham have conceded 9 goals in their last 4 games, so we are expecting a high score in this fixture, especially in Chelsea’s favour!

Leicester vs West Brom

Finally, our picks for this game are Wesley Fofana (5.0m) and Kelechi Iheanacho (5.9m). The next four fixtures for Leicester are against teams rated ‘2’ in the FPL fixture difficulty ratings and in 3 of those games they are playing at home. With their incredible upcoming fixtures, these two picks were a no-brainer, especially for a combined value of only 9.9m for a solid defender and striker. We’re expecting some clean sheets here and at great value too, which is why we have selected Fofana. Iheanacho was an easy selection following their game against West Ham, where he managed to bag 2 goals. If that hasn’t sold it to you already, did you know that Iheanacho has only blanked once in his last 5 games? During those games, he has managed to score 7 goals and get 1 assist! I’m pretty sure I would be hiding behind the sofa during Leicester games if I didn’t have this guy in my team.

Our Bench Picks

We selected Fraser Forster (4.0m) as he is a current starter for Southampton and because of his value. For only 4.0m we then had the ability to upgrade our team elsewhere. For that exact reason, we have also selected Jorginho (4.7m). Rob Holding (4.2m) again was a simple decision, especially when injuries to other Arsenal defenders means he is likely to start. Finally, for the same reason, we have also selected Nathaniel Phillips (4.1m). It’s always good to have a strong bench of reliable players to come on in case one of your main picks doesn’t play. Not only that but if you still have your Bench Boost Chip, you will no doubt be wanting a reliable bench to get points from all fifteen players!

Conclusion

It seems a lot of people have used their Wildcard in Gameweek 31 due to the fixture swing and to prepare their teams in the best possible way for the end of the season. With a DGW for Spurs, the obvious captains here are Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son, who will you pick? Don’t worry if you have not decided yet, we will have an article later this week to help you with your final decision. We sure hope our FPL Way XV picks have helped you with your managerial selections for the upcoming Gameweek and as always, we wish you the best of luck!

Who are the best FPL Players to own for GW30? The FPL Way XV

Posted by: @FantasySilva

As we all know, FPL returns on Saturday 3rd April with a deadline to finalise your team by 11:00 am.

With that in mind, we’ve created our top picks for Gameweek 30. Our picks are always based on having 100 million in the bank and this week’s picks comes out at 99.5 million.

Chelsea vs West Brom

With a very favourable home fixture for Chelsea who are playing 19th in the league (a team who have conceded the most goals this season), we have decided to triple up on Chelsea assets with Edouard Mendy (5.2m), Marcos Alonso (5.7m) and Mason Mount (7.0m). On paper, this has got clean sheet written all over it for the home side, especially since Chelsea have managed to keep four consecutive clean sheets. We also have a good feeling about Mount who has netted two goals in the last 5 gameweeks and was on form for England.

Aston Villa vs Fulham

Our pick for this fixture is Matt Targett (5.1m). With Aston Villa keeping 14 clean sheets this season so far (joint with Chelsea), we feel there is a good chance of a clean sheet here. Although we have some decent bench fodder in our selection, we have high hopes for this pick.

Leeds vs Sheffield Utd

With Leeds playing bottom of the table at home, we’ve decided to triple up on Leeds assets. We’ve picked Stuart Dallas (5.1m), Raphinha (5.7m) and Patrick Bamford (6.7m). All three assets have had some fine form recently and we’re expecting the whites to build on their 2-1 win over Fulham. We’re feeling positive that they will continue their attacking-minded approach against the bottom side in the league and rack up some goals.

Arsenal vs Liverpool

With Diogo Jota (6.7m) netting 3 goals in his last two fixtures for Portugal on international duty, we’re expecting him to get some decent game time in this fixture. With only 4.9% ownership at the time of writing, he could well be a very nice differential for Gameweek 30.

Man Utd vs Brighton

Our selection for this game has to be none other than Bruno Fernandes (11.5m). With Brighton only managing one clean sheet in the last 5 gameweeks, we’re expecting to see some goals in this fixture and Fernandes to play a big part in the Red Devils’ attack. Although we’ve not selected him as our captain, he was a very strong contender which is why we selected him as our vice-captain.

Everton vs Crystal Palace

We feel that Dominic Calvert-Lewin (7.6m) is coming back to the form which he had at the start of the season. He netted 2 goals on international duty for England in their 5-0 victory against San Marino and was rested in their last fixture against Poland. That being said, we’re expecting him to have a good game on Monday, hence why we’ve selected him in our starting XI.

Newcastle vs Spurs

We’ve gone for Harry Kane (11.6m) in this fixture. Spurs have managed to score 12 goals in their last five fixtures with Kane netting 4 goals and bagging 2 assists in those fixtures. Kane is now joint top goal scorer (with Mohamed Salah) with a whopping 17 goals this season. Following his great form on international duty, we’re expecting big things in this fixture, especially against a struggling Newcastle side. Therefore, we’ve also decided to select Kane as our captain for this gameweek.

Conclusion

It feels like it has been a long time since the last gameweek with the international break dragging on and we can’t wait to get started with GW30 now! We have a strong feeling Harry Kane will continue his great form and come out on top! We hope our selection helps you ahead of the gameweek with your managerial selections and we wish all you FPL mangers a great gameweek!
